Beginnings
Our beginnings date back in 1961, which is more than 60 years ago, when our great-grandfather planted his first grapevine, thus setting the foundations of the Iliev Winery we know today. Growing up in a family with deep agricultural roots and passion for both: the viticulture and the winemaking, in 2005 Dimche produced his first own wine. Nowadays, it is his son, the young owner and oenologist Stojan, who has proved and demonstrated that it is possible to make a wide range of products which contain the key ingredient - the grapes.
The grapes itself is the effect of an excellently tended vineyard and a powerful terroir. Becoming the steering-wheel of the Iliev Winery in 2021, Stojan has taken serious steps towards creating recognizable wines from the region, thus reflecting the land as the most precious resource.
In Macedonia, the land speaks through the vineyards, where the sun, soil, and centuries of tradition come together to create wines that are as unforgettable as the landscape itself.
Located in the heart of the Tikvesh wine region or more precisely, in the village of Sopot, Kavadarci, our winery produces 30 tons of high-quality wines from carefully selected top-quality grapes.

VINEYARDS

Of course, everything starts at the vineyard. By providing quality grapes production, we also get quality wine. As a winery, we own and cultivate 20 hectares of vineyards from which we produce 280 to 300 tons of grapes per year.
Kosharishte
Located 3 km south-west of the winery. The position itself perfectly emphasizes the characteristics of the classes and the varieties of grapevine and expresses the terroir.
Lazarici
The second microsite is mainly of sandy soil, this type of soil contributes delicate tannins and intense fruity notes to the grapes and the wines.
